School Uniform policy September 2019
Over the years you have been very supportive of our school uniform policy. Our uniform is practical and helps children to feel a sense of belonging to our school. In line with our school improvement plan and our partner schools within the trust, we have an updated uniform policy.
To reconfirm, school ties have been introduced to our uniform as from September 2019.
Ties will be compulsory for Junior children in Years 3, 4, 5 and 6 to be worn with white shirts/blouses only. Jumpers/cardigans for Juniors must be V neck – a school logo is essential.
For Infant children in Years R, 1 and 2, ties will be optional but if worn, must be with a white shirt/blouse (not with a polo shirt) – and V neck jumper/cardigan. If no tie is to be worn, pupils can wear white polo shirts.
School logo hoodies will only be allowed for PE.
We will be gifting the ties to all Juniors this year and book bags to the new school starters. However, should the tie become damaged or lost, new clip on ties will be available to buy from the School Office priced at £5. All ties are made from 100% recycled plastic bottles.
School logo navy jumpers/cardigans and optional white polo/PE T-shirts with logo, for all pupils (including pre-schoolers) will be available to order through school using a new supplier www.theprintsofwales.co.uk
School Trends will still be supplying the School tartan skirt and dresses. White shirts and polo shirts can also be purchased through Tesco, Asda and Sainsbury.
Please find over leaf the images of the uniform.
Any questions do ask your child’s class teacher in the first instance. Or call/email the office at either school.
